Year 1 Assembly and Parent Workshop
Today, our Year 1 pupils performed an amazing assembly for parents, grandparents and carers.
They took us on a journey around London sharing facts and information about famous landmarks such as Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, etc.
Some pupils shared their learning in English. They read out stories they had written based on the book 'The Queen's Hat'. We have some budding authors in the making!
Throughout the assembly, they sang some beautiful songs related to the 4 countries that make up the United Kingdom and ended with The National Anthem.
Parents, grandparents and carers were then invited back in to the classroom to work alongside their children to design and create a picture of a London landmark.
Lots of fun and learning was had by all.
