Year 5 Cricket Festival
Today, Wednesday 19th June, some of our Year 5 pupils took part in a Dynamos Schools Cricket Competition at March Town Cricket Club. We took a mixed team and an all girls team to participate in the event. Our pupils competed against eight other teams.
Throughout the event, our pupils showed great teamwork, fielding and batting skills. At the end of the event, our all girls side were highlighted for their sportsmanship and improvement in their cricketing ability. They were awarded 'Spirit of the Games' t-shirts.
We were pleased to achieve the following:
Our mixed team were sixth;
Our all girls team were joint third.
