The pupils in our Reception class were very excited to receive some pumpkins donated by Freshfields Farm in Benwick.
The pupils used them in their pumpkin patch, pretending to harvest them, transporting them to the shop and selling them to their friends. There was so much rich vocabulary used as they described the size, colour, shape and texture.
Thank you so much to Freshfields Farm for their generous donation. We all had so much fun and learning!
