Thurs 27th June - Reception Trip to South Angle Farm
We are really looking forward to visiting the lovely South Angle Farm on Thursday 27th June 2024.
The educational focus for the trip is the Outdoor Environment and developing and improving critical
skills, such as creativity, imagination, problem-solving, active listening and emotional literacy. More
information can be seen at https://www.southanglefarmpark.co.uk/ We will have the opportunity to get up and close and personal with a range of domestic and exotic pets.
The coach will leave school promptly at 9.00 a.m. and return at approximately 3.00 p.m.
As this is an Early Years trip, your child is entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM). If you wish to take up this entitlement, then please indicate below so that our kitchen can prepare a packed lunch for your child to pick up on the day. You are, of course, free to prepare your own packed lunch should you wish.
Please also indicate consent for your child to go on the trip below. Please complete the form by Friday 21st June 2024.
The cost of the trip is £25 and this covers the cost of hiring a coach and a day’s teaching activities led by staff at South Angle Farm. The payment is now active on School Gateway.
Monday 1st July - Year 1 trip to Sacrewell Farm
We are really looking forward to visiting the lovely Sacrewell Farm on Monday 1st July 2024. The educational focus for the trip is the Outdoor Environment and developing and improving critical skills, such as creativity, imagination, problem-solving, active listening and emotional literacy.

We will have the opportunity to pond dip and investigate an array of intriguing creatures that live in the pond.
The coach will leave school promptly at 9.00 a.m. and return at approximately 3.00 p.m.
As this is a KS1 trip, your child is entitled to a Universal Infant Free School Meal (UIFSM). Tuesday 16th July - Year 3 Trip to Astra Zeneca Science Park
As part of our Science curriculum, we have arranged a visit to the Astra Zeneca Science Park for our Year 3 children. They will get to talk and meet some of the scientists that work there and perform experiments of their own! This will be a great opportunity for children to see Science in action and begin to inspire a career in Science!
Please complete the link below to give your consent to take your child, via coach, to Cambridge on the day. We aim to eat at the centre so a packed lunch will need to be prepared and brought. If you qualify for Free School Meals and wish your child to have a free pack up from the kitchen, then please indicate on the form so that we can prepare one.
